I had a great experience with Dr. Bufalini and Tanya. They made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived, thoroughly explained my options, and made sure I knew what to expect. My three wisdom teeth were removed quickly and efficiently, and my prescriptions were ready before I left, which made recovery much easier. The entire team was professional, kind, and well organized. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing oral surgery.

Very stressful experience financially and emotionally. My daughter had infected teeth and we were told treatment would not proceed unless we paid thousands upfront because we were told insurance was not available. We later experienced confusion around insurance filing, billing amounts, and extra surcharge fees. No family should feel pressured into putting urgent medical care on a credit card while trying to understand unclear billing practices. I hope the office improves transparency and communication for future patients.

I visited Carolinas Oral & Facial Surgery Center Nov. 2025. There were 2 large portraits of the Dr.'s in the waiting room. Good to see who was in charge, I guess. I had a wonderful experience with the "other" dental surgeon that actually removed my problematic tooth, HOWEVER, the after-care from the office was a disaster. 1) they sent my meds to the wrong pharmacy 2) I had no idea what meds were ordered 3) handed me a toothbrush and sample toothpaste as I exited, no instructions on: a) how long to wear guaze b) how to prevent dry socket c) warning signs of excessive bleeding d) what meds I was due to take 4) I did my own research online regarding the above, which is where I saw that I should have an antibiotic to prevent infection. 5) problem was, there was no antibiotic picked up w my 3 meds at the pharmacy. 2 days after surgery, I called the Dr.'s office and asked if an antibiotic was ordered, she checked and said no. However, I kept getting notifications from the pharmacy to pick up another script. (Mind you I was getting msgs from 2 pharmacies, the right one and the wrong one). I decided to ck out the reminder pharmacy and low and behold there WAS an antibiotic. Seems like the

I had such a great experience getting my wisdom teeth removed from this office. Kayleigh and Eden were both amazing they made the environment calm and comforting, which really helped ease my nerves. Dr. Bufalini did a great job, and the procedure itself went very smoothly. Even during recovery, the care didn’t stop. When I became worried about dry socket, they got me in as soon as possible and reassured me. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Overall, I am dissatisfied with my visit, though my concerns are strictly administrative in nature. No clinical work has been performed to date. First, I was contacted three separate times to confirm my appointment, each time by a different staff member. During the third call, I asked whether it was standard practice to confirm appointments multiple times, as I had already provided confirmation twice. This repetition gave the impression that the office lacks coordination and effective internal communication. Second, the intake paperwork was highly redundant. The same personal information was required to be written multiple times, often on the same form. This felt inefficient and unnecessarily time-consuming. Additionally, when checking in, the front desk staff processed my payment and requested my email address in order to send a receipt. I never received the receipt. As this payment was made using an HSA account, the receipt is required for documentation purposes. I am now forced to follow up to obtain it. Given this experience, I would strongly prefer receiving a paper receipt at the time of payment. Third, during my brief conversation with the male dentist, I experienced rep
